Mike Harris has over 17 years in Public Service. He began his public service career in the United States Navy as a Search and Rescue Corpsman and Aerospace Medical Technician. He has numerous multiple forward deployments under his belt to include being forward deployed to
Udari, Al Jahra (OKDI) and the South China Sea as a flight medic and Rescue Swimmer. He has extensive experience in various real-world environments (both austere and ancillary) providing both ancillary and Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
Mike is currently employed as an Agent for the State of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State Police Trainer. He formerly served as an ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force Sergeant for Oklahoma’s Eastern District. Mike has experience and accreditations as an ICAC, Detective, Task Force Officer, State Police trainer, Executive Protection Customs Protection Officer, Emergency Medical Technician, SWAT Officer and as a FLETC Tactical Medical Instructor, FLETC De-escalation instructor and SRO (School Resource Officer) Coordinator.
Early in his Military career Mike understood the importance of training and becoming a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in various multifaceted disciplines. He has taken this discipline and knowledge into his Law Enforcement Career. Mike specializes in Constitutional law, Case Law,
ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) investigations, Juvenile Law, Tactical Medicine, Use of Force, CEW (Conducted Electrical Weapons), and Law Enforcement Policy and Procedures.
His vast knowledge of various Law Enforcement disciplines has directly led to numerous significant arrests and seizures on both the State and Federal levels. Viewed as a Constitutional and Case Law SME among his peers, he is routinely called upon to offer guidance in the field. Mike was the recipient of the State of Oregon’s “Life Saver Award” in 2022. Additionally, he holds two Associate’s degrees in Criminal Justice and General Education as well as Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Mike is also a Certified Teacher in the state of Oklahoma and is two classes away from obtaining his Juris Masters Law Degree in American Legal Studies.
